Our Money Advice service provides advice, practical support and assistance for people struggling with multiple debts. 

What do we do?

We provide free independent, confidential and impartial quality assured advice and casework support to help find a sustainable remedy for managing debts. 

We help you to maximise your income and review your expenditure; prepare a financial statement of your income and outgoings; negotiate with creditors; explore options with you and help you take forward the agreed plan. 

Who can refer to this service?

Residents of Hamilton, Blantyre, Larkhall and surrounding areas; statutory and community organisations. 

Problems we can help with include:

• Debt –  checking liability, negotiating settlement or a debt payment programme;  managing contact with creditors;  
• Money – help with budgeting, consumer credit, access to credit unions
